Under & Over the Mersey

A walk on Fathers Day
was for charity and in
aid of The Radio
Merseyside Charitable
Trust. It was
undertaken by our
member Ronnie McEvoy.

This was the first time
it has been held since
1994.

The walk took him
through the Queensway
Mersey Tunnel opened
in 1934 and known
locally as the old
tunnel.

It links Liverpool with
the Wirral Peninsula.

The return to Liverpool
was via Mersey Ferry
but Ronnie didn't go as
he lives on Wirral !.
